Daily bread: God’s time is the best

Scripture: Genesis.8:1-8[NKJV]

Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided. 2 The fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were also stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained. 3 And the waters receded continually from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters decreased.4 Then the ark rested in the seventh month, the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat. 5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.

Good morning God’s children!
Mangwanani vana vaMwari!
Hareruya vanhu vaMwari!
Kana urimwana wemuporofita ita Amen inobowa satan!

Are you one of the people who would say this prayer? “Lord I need patience and I want it now!” If your answer is, “Yes” then what you need first is not patience but the Lord Himself.

As the earth was not drowned in a day, so it was not dried in a day. God usually works deliverance for his people gradually, that the day of small things may not be despised, nor the day of great things be taken lightly.

God consults our benefit, rather than our desires. He knows what is good for us better than we do for ourselves, and no matter how long it takes our resilience, restrains, faith and hope should continue, and desired mercies should be delayed. Because of our personal interests and selfishness we would go out of the ark before the ground is dried and perhaps, if the door is shut, we are impatient to thrust off the door open and to climb up some other way but God's time of showing mercy is the best time. As Noah had a command to go into the ark, no matter how boring the ark was, he waited for a command to go out of it again. We must in all our ways acknowledge God, and set him before us in all our needs.

Daily bread: God’s time is the best
Am I speaking to somebody?

You have been delivered and maybe it is months now since you got your deliverance but it seems nothing is happening in your life. You are busy asking yourself and others are sending me emails, “Why am still poor? Why am still barren? Why am I still single? Why is my marriage still on the rocks?” but the whole issue could be God’s best time. Who said delay is denial? And who said the first report is the last report?

Wait upon the Lord and He will deliver your needs at the right time. You still have pride poor as you are; what more when you become rich? Some of you will not even notice the presence of anyone, let alone greet back the person next to you. You will not afford the time to worship God because of your ‘tight schedules’. I have heard some saying, “Man of God I am too tied up these days I cannot afford to come to church on Sundays.” But the ‘tight’ days turn into months and months into a year until the devil takes him away back into the world.

Are you here somebody?

You have a passion for speed and you also desire to have fast cars but the Lord is still waiting for your passion to be diluted before He gives you the car because if you get it now, you are more likely to drive it like a plane without wings, you will cause fatal accidents, you disrespect traffic officers and you yourself will perish in the road accident, a great loss to your wife and family. Wait for God’s time.

Woman, you have been single not because of the anti-marriage spirit but because your character is not yet seasoned and pruned enough, you will not acknowledge your in-laws in your living space. Thus the Lord is moulding your character to be ready to handle such moments. (Chinja hunhu hwako).

You cannot even organise yourself, your life is scattered not because you are poor but because you are not able to manage time and you feel as if you need more than 24 hours per day to put things in order. In the middle of such mismanagement you are asking for a baby in your life. It means when the baby comes, you will not even attend the church services because you need more time for the baby or the baby distracts you during the services (Rongeka first). Above all wait for the Lord’s time and it will come.

Let us learn to wait upon God’s time and everything else will fall into place at the right time. Continue to attend church services regularly and participate in the Declarations and Voice Anointing during our services. Read the bible, pray and worship Him everyday. Give Him praise all the time regardless of the situation you are in. Be like Noah and wait for the ground to become dry before you get out of the ark. God knows that you are in the ark and He will not forget about you, He is a faithful God. (NdiMwari vakatendeka).

Shout, “I will wait for God’s time with praise! Delayed testimony is not denied testimony! The first report s not the last report! I am crossing over to take over! My life is turning around 180 Degrees into the positive direction! Yadah! Abbah! Father! Thank you Lord for the coming breakthrough! Let there be light!”

Glory be to God. Mbiri kunaJesu.

Let there be light – the light that pushes away darkness.
